Saucony running shoes rated high in social media

In January 2012, NetBase Solutions released a brand passion study of sneakers (running shoes). 

Several brands were analyzed for their popularity in the social media:
Skechers, Puma, Nike, VibramFiveFingers, Saucony and Reebok.

Nike has the highest buzz, with 44% of the overall conversations, but it rated average in other categories.

Reebok was the second highest talked about brand with 26% of the conversations, but had the lowest Net Sentiment score.

VibramFiveFingers, was the least (6%), talked about brand, but it had the highest Passion Intensity score of 71. Online consumers were impressed with its VibramFiveFingers “revolutionary footwear.”

Saucony (and Skechers) had the highest Net Sentiment score of 89, and also the second highest Passion Intensity. Consumers were passionate about Saucony due to its incredible and thoughtful quality.

Saucony running shoes were admired for their “socks optional” nature, wonderful cushioning on the soles, super light weight and flexibility.
